Easter
Looks like a great time coloring Easter eggs doesn't it? Well....it wasn't! These two argued the entire time- "No! I want to color my egg that color"...we had to have a character lesson right then and there...yeah, just what I wanted to do. In the end, we did make some good memories and had some very creatively decorated eggs :) They look so happy, don't they? They are! Nathan and Aleksandra looking for Easter eggs.

Aleksandra's First Official Haircut
Our little girl finally got her first official haircut yesterday(I trimmed the back once). She has refused to let anyone cut it until now. She wasn't sure about it at first, but she was brave and ended up being thrilled with her her new do :)

The first official day of Spring Break! I (Dianna) decided to take Nathan out to Red Rock so we could spend some quality time together. First, we went the Visitor Center, but most of it is closed for renovation. It opens in couple of weeks, and we will go back as a family. Nathan did get to buy a couple of things at the gift shop. Then, we drove around the scenic loop. Nathan got to ride shotgun...he thought that was pretty cool and I figured it was somewhat safe since the speed limit is 15mph there. After that, we stopped at Lost Creek Children's Discovery Trail. On the trail, we walked through a wash, saw agave pits, petroglyphs, went to the waterfall and ate lunch there, and walked on the bridge that Jesse and his friend Frank built quite a few years back. Our favorite part was the waterfall. Nathan kept commenting on how great it was and what a great time he was having....I really enjoyed it too. It was nice to spend some time alone together. After our hike, we were off to see the remainder of the scenic loop, then to Grandmas. Aleksandra spent the night with grandma Donna, so I was going to pick her up and drop Nathan off. They get individual time with Grandma and Gradpa, and Jesse and I get time with each of them. BTW, Jesse was at work when we went to Red Rock.
